Using the com in my parent's room now. Com was hooked up immediately when we arrived at the house. Everything is indeed different. My room needs re-painting. GOD I DUNNO WHY I CHOSE SUCH A LIGHT COLOUR LA. IDIOT ME. Going to paint it a deep purple. So happy when dad finally agreed to it. =) Moving back tomorrow. I'm ecstatic. Aircon comfort after 2 months of using the fan. Wahahaha! I'm hungry. Go eat dinner first. See ya!*- I Love Pasir Ris!

School was pretty slack today. First period was P.E. Went to the gym to do a bit of weights training. Then for econs we just discussed on how to answer an 8 mark question.Chinese was the best. We did NOTHING. The class was busy questioning the teacher over her trip tp China for 2 days. And of course, she shared her story. I chatted with Calesta and slept a bit. =)
Afterwards, bio break! We went to Subway and NO COOKIES! What the?! My senior Adeline then got busy calling the supplier and apparently the supplies were stuck in a jam. Hmm.. came soon enough and I had my White Chip Nut and Chocolate Chip! (heck my throat.. hahaha) These cookies are addictive man! I don't think I can go a week without at least eating them once!
The last lesson was 2 hours of GP. Goodness, it was mentally draining. Did a sh*t job with the compre test la! 1hr and 10 mins only!! My english sux. >.<
With school out, I went to the library to try to do my work but ended up doing only one or two questions cause it was so difficult! Shucks la! Went to the Scope at 3.30pm to meet with Yee Ning, Ying2, Yvonne, YingQi, Sin Yee and Tiffany. We signed up to go for the EDB Learning Journey! I guess the whole trip was ok la. Nothing much to do with econs actually.. (like what the toot!).. the presentation wass just basically talking about what EDB does and stuff. Then there's the scholarship.
You know.. I just realised i prefer being in the action of the coporate world rather than be cooped up in a lab staring at cells multiplying at amazing rate. It excites me that i may get to meet people of high status who have successfully secured a place in the global market and learn from them. I enjoy bio but I guess it's more of interest rather than having it as a career. Hmm..
Anyway.. the EDB presentation room was on the 21st floor and while going up, I felt giddy cause of the change in pressure i believe. Some of the others had hurting ears. The whole thing ended at 6pm and Ying qi accompanied me to the food court at Raffles City to eat dinner. Had the Korean Dolsop Bibimbab. $6.90 but I just wanted a satisfying dinner + I never tried it before! No regrets. It was good. =)
Reached Bishan at 8+. Lightning was flashing like every 5 seconds or so though no rain. Realised this area is super prone to lightning. Scary but cool. I like storms.. once in a while. Heh.
I haven't finished packing nia. Dad sure scold de lo. But I just wanna sleep and let tomorrow come asap. I WANT TO SEE MY HOME! hahaa.. Monday no school so i shall just dump all my worksheets into a box and ship it back to my nice nice house!! HAHAHA! lol.. high liao high liao! SUPER EXCITED! ah!! X)

First time in term 2 I'm not going to school. Why? Thanks to my super inflamed throat and I can't even talk properly. Suppose to have my GPP meeting with my group so I will still go meet them later. Too important to miss the meeting and I'm the research leader somemore lo. Some useless leader i am man! Can't even steer my group in the right direction. Upset with myself sia. Then dunno what happened to my skin la. Think some freak insect bit my on the right index knuckle and now it's swollen and sore and my skin is covered red patches. Probably some reaction to the sting. Irritating! Slept again at 6.30am after waking up and deciding that i really will not be able to tahan school today. Haix.. i was in a dilemma whether to go to school or not la. 3 lectures leh! Chem, Bio and Maths somemore lo! + my GPP meeting! Then my dad said to rest at home. So i thought about it and decided to stay at home then meet my P-Dup grp later. CANNOT BE IRRESPONSIBLE. Woke up feeling groggy and tired. Will go see Doctor Chiam at Pasir Ris after my meeting.Just realised there's a lot of things i forget to say, that i promised to say in my previous post.
1) I quit climbing to join E Club. I wont say i have any regrets at all. To be truthful, I am happier in E Club because there is more interaction with my peers compared to climbing. I'm in the June Camp Comm and in charge of highlights together with 2 others. I made more friends in 2 sessions of E Club than in 5 over sessions of climbing. So ya.. no regrets. And the sessions end a lot earlier. I love home.. so see the link?
2) House Comm registration is over. I didn't sign up. I disappointed a few ppl. I dunno how to face them, especially one of my seniors. I know I was passionate about joining HC initially, I really was. But into the course of the term, I know I wasn't doing well for my tests. My acads were and are terrible. I have too much revision to do. I contemplated for over a week, and finally decided on the brutal move NOT to join HC. I still love Gamma a whole lot. So i'm signing up for activites for Sports Carn.
Regrets there difinitely will be. Like people always say, LIFE IS FULL OF REGRETS. No point looking back. I guess now I can just look forward and pray that i can do well enough for JCT. I want a scholarship. I want to make my Dad proud. I didn't qualify for the A*Star scholarship. When i found out i broke down because I know my Dad really wanted me to get that scholarship. I didn't even dare tell him. All just because i didn't have 2 A1s for science. i had 2 A2s. Haix.
Well, enough about the sad stuff. I'm moving back this Sunday!! Till now, I've not seen the house. I simply refuse to go see the development. I want to see everything once it's all done up! Heehee.. and the suspense is already killing me. All that i know of comes from my family's mouth. They say, I imagine. So i only see what i imagine and not the real thing. Goodnesss, i can't wait for SATURDAY to come! We'll be taking back the house from the designer. =) Ben says I will be going ballistic when i see it!
"It's a totally different house, Jie. I think you will go crazy when you see it la."
LOL. AND MY GRANDMA'S COMING HOME ON SATURDAY!!!!!!! I MISS HER SO SO SO MUCH LA!
Hmm.. guess I'll stop here for today. I'm going to do some work. See ya! ;)

Speech Day 2006 at Hai Sing Catholic SchoolStepping out from the MRT train at Pasir Ris station, I could feel a wave of nostalgia hit me right in the face. The refreshing sense of familiarity and the deep longing for home was so strong I didn't know whether to cry or laugh. I was smiling all the way - ear to ear - while walking to the bus terminal. People would have thought i was mad! Arrived at Hai Sing at 4.15pm and somehow I felt a little out of place. Mingled around a lil' bit then we took our seats at 5+. The usual opening procession went on, the principal's speech.. blah blah blah. Then we finally collected our awards. After the mini concert, we went down to the canteen for dinner. Had a chat with some of the teachers and also asked around if they wanted a class gathering at my house. Everyone ON nia. haha.. love 4E1. (Who cares about JCT??.. lol)
Home Sweet Home!
I'm moving back in 8 days time!! I cannot wait! The house is to going to need some getting use to, esp since the partition will be gone and the storeroom's going to be shifted out and the ceiling's going to be higher and many many more!!! Grandma's coming back too!!!! Finally!! Goodness, my cantonese is going to need some brushing up! Haven't spoken much since she left la! =)

Just feel like doing a little reflection in my life. The transition from Stage One to Stage Two to Stage Three of my life has led to a rather masive transformation of me, at least that's how I feel. Stage One - The 6 years of Primary school. Back then, I was this reticient, hot-headed and bad tempered girl. I wasn't physically appealing either. Tipping the scale of over 60kg and being such a bitch back then, I wasn't exactly someone who had everyone's approval of a friend. I was lucky enough to have a gang of friends to tide through P5 and P6 with me. Yet, the lonely times of walking around the canteen alone in P3/P4 still haunts me. I never want to experience that again, even though once in a while, it is therapeutic to have some time alone to yourself.
Stage 2 - Secondary School. Sec 1 and Sec 2 wasn't as exciting as the upper secondary school years. The nightmare of primary school did carry itself up to secondary school with me. I was still very introverted and someone with a rather low self-esteem and had very little self-acceptance. In secondary 2, I was fortunate to have made a close bunch of friends like Cui Xia, Xue Ying.. etc. And losing quite an amount of weight since sec 1 also kind of improved my self-esteem a LITTLE. At the end of the year, my skin infection, that lasted about a month, made me review through my life. Walking out of the hospital and looking at the world with a smile again, I felt as if it was the rebirth of a new me. My perceptions of my life changed and I became more sociable and extroverted. That was probably the reason why I enjoyed my upper sec more than my lower sec years.
Stage 3 - Junior College. The first few months of JC was fabulous. The fact that I'm no longer so quiet actually allowed me to make a lot of friends and I love my CG 31/06!!! Everyone's unique personality makes 31/06 such a lovable, fun and interesting class. We compliment each other well and are always supportive of each other. I also decided to join a sports PDP for once. 7 years of no PE makes me feel that I'm a failure in that part of my life. Yet, after yesterday's climbing session, I'm seriously reconsidering climbing. :( Am I underestimating or over-rating my resilience? I want to step to step out of my comfort zone and just be more fit. Can I do it? All i know is that this year, I'm going to start taking any chances/opportunity that comes by for me to be able to discover what I truly enjoy doing and what exactly my passion is. 'Revamping' my life, or so I will call it.
This life journey has gone on for 17 years, and it's going to go on.. or will it? What if I die tomorrow? What if I die today? Indeed, life is unpredictable. No one gets to live the same life twice. Regrets and mistakes are part and parcel of life and those are what gives you experience, wisdom and knowledge. Yes, we only get to do most things once in our life. Once the chance is gone, it's gone. So.. should I stay in climbing and overcome this physical barrier? I'll think about it seriously and tell you the next time I post. Hopefully, I don't disappoint you.. much less disappoint myself.
